In order to complete a major distance race such as the OBX-500, an extensive amount of support must be provided by the road crew. Daryl Moss, a close friend of both Chris and Nate and long time supporter of Team Accelerated Chaos, has been recruited for the position of head road crew for The Team. Daryl has experience racing catamarans in both the distance and buoy racing formats, which sets him in excellent position to serve as a fully able 'back-up' man to replace Chris or Nate if they were to get hurt or sick at any point during the race. He has served as road crew for distance races for Team Accelerated Chaos in the past and his brut strength, experience, and light-hearted demeanor are seen as major advantages for the team.
