Although Nate is the younger of the two brothers, he does not lack any experience in the sailing community. He has raced competitively in both high school and college and earned the honors of being named captain of teams at both levels. Currently, Nate is a senior at Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI where he is the fleet captain of the sailing team. While at school, it is not uncommon for Nate to race seven days a week on a variety of monohulls. His racing experiences and exposure to top level coaching has proven to be a huge asset in his ability to call tactics on the catamarans, an area where the brothers especially excel. Additional sailing experiences include placing 3rd at the MX-ray nationals in 2001 and serving as crew for an offshore sailing charters.
